Power and charging
The printed manual specifies DC 5V/2A. Use a reputable 5V/2A charger with the CCC certification specified in the manual; the charger is sold separately. Power is supplied through the magnetic base. Keep charging away from heat and moisture. Indicator colour meanings and a detailed connection sequence are not documented in the photographed manual. First start and WeChat setup
1. Press and hold the belly power button until the device starts; confirm using its indicator or screen. The manual does not specify a hold duration.2. Open WeChat on your phone and scan the setup QR code shown on the device screen.
3. Follow the mini-program instructions to complete network setup. Small text in the six printed screenshots is not reliably readable, so button names, mini-program name and Wi-Fi bands are not inferred.

Wake and chat
Say the Chinese wake phrase “你好，小星” (Ni hao, Xiao Xing), then speak to the device after it becomes active. The printed manual specifies this Chinese phrase; this English page does not imply English wake-word support. You can ask it to sing or tell stories by voice. Power, waiting and power saving
Press and hold the belly button to switch power on or off. A short press switches between chat and waiting. After one minute without conversation it enters waiting; say “你好，小星” to resume. After another five minutes without waking in waiting mode, it enters power saving; press the belly button to wake it. A previously set reminder can wake it at the scheduled time and play the reminder.Guide image coming soon

Touch, expressions and head movement
Gently stroke the head to receive interaction feedback. Conversations or interactions can trigger animated expressions and head movement automatically. Everyday reminders
Tell Xiao Xing the task and time, for example a reminder to practise at 7pm, check cooking in five minutes, or wake you at 8am every day. Songs, stories, clothes and badges
Request songs or stories by voice, or bring a song/story card near the belly button area to trigger playback. Listening to stories can earn badges, which can be worn and checked by voice. Clothes can be changed manually; outfit-specific animations require dedicated Xingjiao Mengmeng clothes. DIY outfits can also be used for styling. Changing network and troubleshooting limits
The reset opening is labelled only “short press when manually changing network”. This does not establish a factory reset, data wipe or complete reset procedure. Do not infer a longer press or disassembly. If setup, charging or waking fails, record the screen message and contact support. Safety and after-sales support
The printed safety text says the product is unsuitable for children aged three and under. This differs at the age boundary from the 3+ icon; this guide retains the stricter written statement and recommends confirming with the manufacturer. Small parts present a choking risk. Children require continuous adult supervision. Do not dismantle or modify internal circuits or mechanisms. Avoid impacts, fire and strong magnetic fields; dispose of batteries under local rules. Avoid prolonged close viewing of the light module.Zoowai provides one year of warranty for non-user-caused faults. Repairs for user-caused damage or outside warranty are chargeable; the customer pays repair shipping.
